1 Samuel contains some of the most beloved accounts in all of Scripture, including Hannah’s answered prayer for a son and David and Goliath. It also contains some of the most mysterious events in Scripture, like the witch of Endor conjuring up the dead. Underneath all of these historical narratives is one of the most important themes in the Old Testament: the dawn and establishment of the kingdom in Israel. Israel asked for a king. Israel, and human history, would never be the same.
We invite you to come join us this week as we continue our study of 1 Samuel in Sunday school. We meet in the Fellowship Hall at 9AM on Sunday morning. Come learn more about what God’s Word says and how it impacts our relationship with Christ today.
At 9AM we also have children’s Sunday school for kids of all ages and a Sunday school class for our junior and senior high school students. Bring the whole family and join us as we look to God and His Word.
