This final sermon through the series, The Fruit of the Spirit, is intended to reveal just who a Christian really is. As Christians, we must remember who we belong to; what has been done to us; and how we are to live in this world and forever. In fact, in 2 Peter we are told that to be so short-sighted that we forget these things, we are lacking much of the fruit we are to bear altogether (2 Peter 1:8-9).
For the last few months we have learned about each slice of the fruit that is produced in Christians by the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Please click those links to catch up on any virtue that you might have missed.
As we wrap of this series, it is time to bring everything into perspective so that we may grow into the image of our Lord, Jesus Christ: Spiritual Gardening: Cultivating the Spirit’s Fruit
