On Saturday, May 2 at 9:30am, bring your mom, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, or a neighbor to our Ladies Tea. We will be serving three light courses along with delicious tea and coffee. Feel free to come in tea party attire, which could include pearls, hats, gloves, and parasols.
We will be celebrating and giving tribute to the godly women that have gone before us and have lived lives with extraordinary faith: one without sight who wrote over 9,000 hymns, many which are still sung in churches today; a captive of a concentration camp facing her captor and forgiving him; a slave escaping to freedom and then helping many others make the same dangerous journey.
These are just some of the examples of women who loved God and lived lives that bore that out. We can be encouraged by their story, strengthened by their resolve, and more in awe of the God that equipped and sustained them.
Not only that, we also want to give tribute to the women around us, women that inspire, encourage, nurture, teach, admonish, and laugh with us. Women of all ages play an important role in our lives – older women, younger women, and even our peers. Let’s come together and celebrate that.
Ladies of all ages are invited to celebrate with us a legacy of godly women, and, most importantly, the God that made and gifted them and us.
Please RSVP by contacting the church office or signing up in the foyer on a Sunday. If you would like to be a table hostess or have a tea set the church could use for this event, please note that as well.
