The Faithful, Free Love of God (Hosea 14)

The Minor Prophets

When we are spiritually weak, what is the source of our trouble? We are often quick to blame our circumstances or those around us, but in the book of Hosea we learn that the problems that cause us to stumble into sin are much closer to home. In fact, Hosea reminds us that our sin is our greatest problem. But he also reminds us that there is hope for sinners if they repent and look to God for grace and mercy. In this week's sermon, we begin a new series on The Minor Prophets, focusing on the book of Hosea and the faithful, free love of God for His people.

We live in a time where our court systems are subjective.  Guilt and innocence are found in the opinions of men and women.  Sentencing guidelines are found ultimately in the political landscape of the time.   In the judicial system, justice and fairness are faulty and unequal.  However, there is One who is Just and His judgment is not faulty. Who is escapes God’s final judgment?  What is the Day of the Lord? Listen as this week’s sermon series brings us to the book of Zephaniah.  In this exposition, Pastor Robb reveals from the hand of Zephaniah how God is both Terrifying Judge and Merciful Savior.
