How to Engage Strangers with the Gospel (Selected Scriptures)

Miscellaneous Sermons

We've all been in a situation where God opens a door for us to tell someone the good news of Jesus Christ, but we aren't sure what to say or how to transition to talk about the gospel. We want to tell our friends and family, our co-workers and fellow students, and even the strangers we meet about Jesus, but we don't know how to begin. What's more, we're often afraid they might ask a question we can't answer or raise an objection that will stump us. How can we be equipped to be bold with the gospel with whomever we encounter? Pastor Robb teaches how to engage strangers with the gospel in a biblically faithful way in this message.

We have the opportunity to witness for Christ to our neighbor, a co-worker, or even a complete stranger.  But, as we begin, we freeze.  No words come to mind, no catchy phrase comes out of our mouths.  Why can’t we speak to this person about Jesus?  Why can’t we witness for our Savior?  Why are we so afraid?  Most of us have been in this situation and desire to be a witness for Jesus Christ.  Yet fear grips us and we are hindered by our own fear. Pastor Robb teaches a biblical method for engaging others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is both simple and faithful to the New Testament. If you want to become better at telling others about Jesus, this message will give you the tools to be ready to speak the Gospel in any situation.
