This Sunday is our Communion Sunday. It is, of course, important to remember why we partake together in communion. Communion is how we can join together as a church in unity and proclaim the death of our Savior together. It is how we can remember that, as His people, Christ died for our sins so that when we stand before Him at the throne of judgement, His blood that was shed for us will wash away those sins that make us unclean and unworthy. When we partake in Communion together, we are proclaiming that. That is why it is important that we examine ourselves and make our relationships right with God and with our fellow believers before we join together on Sunday morning.
I hope that this playlist can be encouraging to you as you seek to do that this week.
Psalm 51:14-15 “Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation;
Then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.
O Lord, open my lips,
That my mouth may declare Your praise.”
