As the New Year approaches and we consider “new beginnings”, think about what Paul writes in Romans 12:2 when he says, “…be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” The sanctifying work of the Spirit in our lives and our minds must be something to which we attain daily, not just annually. But the New Year usually makes us think of new beginnings, and as that’s the case, let’s make it a daily habit to renew our minds in Christ. Pray for the Spirit’s sanctifying work in your heart and your mind and that He will align your will and desires with His.
Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
