We have all heard the saying “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.” This is one of the biggest lies ever told. Our words can have a long-lasting effect on people and can cause insurmountable pain. Bones broken can quickly heal, but words can cause wounds so deep that it takes years to heal. We don’t realize how powerful our words are, not just on our loved ones, but on those we just meet. The most powerful muscle in our bodies is our tongues; yet, it is the muscle that we train the least. Do you often speak before thinking? Do you find yourself often apologizing for things you say? If you answered “yes” then this sermon is for you. If you answered “no” this sermon is still for you. Listen to the preached word by Pastor Robb and gain understanding on how God wants His redeemed children to speak.
