When we come before the Father in prayer, do we seek His will or our own desire? This is a question that should be on all of our hearts and minds as we approach God in prayer. It is His will we seek not our own. It is His will we should ask for, not our own desire. It’s easy to forget this when we are in distress and need God’s help or peace. It is easy to forget this when we are feeling lonely and need comfort from God. But, we should always be mindful that nothing happens outside of His will. This is a lesson we can learn in this morning’s sermon by Pastor Robb. Let us learn from Jesus’ entreaty.
